Setup and business verification
Autessa Payments sets you up with a six-step checklist: open your payments account, verify your business, link your bank, add your business address, tell us what you sell and send your first invoice. Verification is embedded on the Payments page itself, so you never leave Autessa or create a separate processor login.
The problem it solves
Merchant onboarding is where most businesses stall
Opening a merchant account usually means another website, another login and waiting. Autessa prefills what it knows from your company profile, shows each step’s status, and lets you draft invoices while verification is in review.
What you get
- The first step prefills your business name and country from your company’s billing details; the country can’t be changed later.
- Verification may ask for ID, SSN or tax ID, EIN, date of birth and home address, business address and phone, website or description, and owner details, depending on your business and country.
- Answers save as you go; review usually takes a few minutes and sometimes a day.
- You get an email when verified, and an “Autessa Payments needs your attention” email listing anything missing later.
- The checklist shows Done, In review or the next action, with Still needed listing open items.
- Supported for businesses in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland and the euro-area countries in the picker.
- Identity and bank details are only ever typed by you; the guide can’t see or fill in the verification form.
