Scan log: time, device, location and IP
Autessa QR Codes keeps a scan log for every code: each scan with its exact time to the second, the device (iOS, Android or other), the location and the IP address. You can filter it by device and by location, sort it newest or oldest first, and page through it.
The problem
A total tells you how many; a log tells you who and when
A single scan count cannot tell you whether a poster works in the morning or at night, whether your audience is mostly on iPhone, or whether a mailing reached the region you sent it to. A per-scan log answers those questions, and lets you check a specific moment, such as the hour of an event, scan by scan.
FROM THE PRINT SHOP
Filter to one location after a regional mailing to see whether it actually reached the area you sent it to.
What you get
- Each row shows When (precise local time, down to the second), Device, Location and IP.
- Device is grouped into iOS, Android and Other (desktop and everything else).
- Filter by device with one click: All, iOS, Android or Other.
- Filter by location; the list offers only the places your code was actually scanned from.
- Sort newest first or oldest first.
- Paginated, so long logs stay easy to read.
- Location is resolved from the scanner’s IP address.
- Visitor details such as IP addresses are encrypted at rest.
