Burn preview
Autessa Redact can show you a draft of the burned file before you save. Open the preview and a new tab shows the redacted PDF with your boxes, label choice and link choice applied, so you can check exactly what readers will get.
The problem
Finding the mistake after the file is sent
A box that is a few pixels short or a label you did not mean to print is easy to miss in an editor. The preview shows the actual output, page by page, while you can still fix it.
- Opens a draft of the burned file in a new browser tab.
- Applies Show labels on the burned file and Break all links as currently set.
- Nothing is saved to Drive and nothing is deleted until you burn and save.
- If a preview cannot be built, Redact says so plainly and lets you try again.

Questions about burn preview
Can I see the redacted PDF before saving it?
Yes. Open a draft of the burned file in a new tab from the editor. Nothing is saved until you burn and save.
Does previewing delete my original?
No. The original is deleted only after the redacted copy is saved to Drive.
