Files and privacy · Autessa Redact
Your files and their status
Autessa Redact keeps a list of your files with a plain-language status for each one: Uploading, Preparing, Ready to review, Suggesting, Burning, Saved to Drive, Failed or Expired. You can upload many files at once, open any file that is ready, discard one, and jump straight to a saved copy in Drive.
The problem
Not knowing where a file is up to
When a batch of documents is being redacted, people need to know which are done, which are waiting and which failed. Your files answers that in one line per file, in words rather than codes.
- Upload several files at once, with progress for each.
- Each file shows its status and a one-line explanation, such as “12 redactions marked so far.”
- Saved files show the name and folder they were saved to, with a button to open them in Drive.
- Failed files explain what went wrong and suggest what to try, such as saving as PDF first.
- The list updates by itself while files are being prepared, suggested or burned.
- Discard deletes a file and every mark on it, after you confirm.

FAQ
Questions about your files and their status
Can I redact several documents at once?
You can upload several at once, and each opens as its own document to review and burn. For fully automatic batch redaction, use the document tools in a pipeline.
What does Expired mean?
The file was not finished within 24 hours, so Redact deleted it. Upload it again to keep going.
What should I do if a file fails?
Redact explains the problem. Usually uploading it again, or saving it as a PDF first and uploading that, fixes it.
100% customizable, code and all
Make Autessa Redact fully your own.
Use it out of the box, then change anything. Ask Autobot, Autessa’s AI builder, for a new field, screen, report, workflow or agent and it builds it into your copy of the app. Or open the code and edit it yourself. Nothing is locked: the app, its data and its code are yours.
