Coach adjustments and feedback

In Autessa Roleplay a coach can adjust any AI score with a short reason the trainee sees, and the adjustment is kept beside the original: the report shows "AI 2 · Coach 4" with the coach's name. Coaches can also add written feedback to any report. The AI score is never silently rewritten.

COACH FEEDBACK
Great recovery after the price push. Next time, confirm the date out loud so it is on the record.

The problem it solves

AI scoring needs a human who can say "not quite"

Even a good scorer misreads a moment now and then, and a coach often knows context the transcript does not. If correcting a score erases the original, nobody learns from the disagreement and nobody can audit it. Corrections should be visible, explained and attributed.

What you get

  • "Adjust score" on any criterion: pick a new value and write why.
  • A reason is required: "Add a short reason. The trainee sees this."
  • Both values are kept and shown together, with the coach's name and the time.
  • Adjust a single criterion, or leave general feedback on the whole session.
  • "Add your feedback": written notes the trainee sees on their report.
  • Needs review on the coach home page lists the sessions most worth a look.

Questions

Questions about coach adjustments and feedback

Does an override replace the AI score?

No. It is stored as a separate record with both values and the coach's reason, so the report can always show what the AI said and what the coach decided.

Does the trainee see the reason?

Yes. The reason is required and shown next to the adjusted score.

Who can adjust scores?

Anyone whose role has the adjust scores permission. Coaches and administrators have it by default.

Rehearse it before it counts

Coaches disagree with the AI on the record: an adjusted score sits next to the AI score with the coach name and reason, and written feedback appears on the report.
