Financial statements
Autessa Accounting produces the three core financial statements, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statement, plus a trial balance, for any date range, read straight from posted entries. The cash flow statement uses the indirect method and ties to the actual change in cash to the penny, or says so.
The problem
Investor-ready numbers should not need a separate tool
Board decks and investor updates need a P&L, a balance sheet and a cash story. When those come from the same ledger that codes every transaction, there is nothing to reconcile and nothing to export and rebuild.
What you get
- Profit and loss: revenue, expenses and net income for a period.
- Balance sheet: what you own, what you owe, and equity.
- Cash flow (indirect method): why your bank balance moved differently from profit, starting from net income and adjusting for receivables, payables, inventory and more.
- The cash flow reconciliation is checked against the actual movement on cash accounts.
- Trial balance: every account’s debits, credits and balance; it says so if debits and credits do not match.
- Spend by category: profit and loss grouped by your categories.
- Choose dates; export any report to CSV.
- Closed months read from saved balances, so reports stay fast.

FAQ
Questions about financial statements
Which financial statements does Autessa Accounting produce?
Profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow statement (indirect method) and trial balance, for any date range, exportable to CSV.
Is it accrual or cash basis?
Accrual. Bills record expenses when received and invoices record revenue when issued; the cash flow statement explains the difference from cash.
Can I export reports?
Yes. Reports export to CSV.
