Case export for audits
Autessa Ethics Hotline exports a CSV of every case you can see: case code, category, state, test or not, contact mode, received, first triaged and closed dates, resolution, and days to triage and to close. It never includes report text, names or messages, so it is safe to hand an auditor.
Why it matters
Audit evidence shouldn’t expose the reports themselves
Auditors and boards need proof the channel works: counts, timings and outcomes. They do not need what a reporter wrote, and giving it to them would break the promise made to every reporter. The export carries the evidence and nothing else.
What you get
- One row per visible case, for the year you picked (or all years).
- Columns: Case code, Category, State, Test, Contact, Received, First triaged, Closed, Resolution, Days to triage, Days to close.
- No report text, reporter names, emails, messages or notes.
- Cells that start like spreadsheet formulas are neutralized, so the file is safe to open.
- Built in the browser from data the workspace already loaded.
- Named by year, like ethics-cases-2026.csv.

FAQ
Questions about case export for audits
What evidence of a whistleblower channel do SOC 2 auditors ask for?
Typically proof that a channel exists, that reports are received and handled, and that access is controlled. Autessa Ethics Hotline gives you a content-free CSV of cases with dates and outcomes, an append-only access log and a hotline test, which help you meet that requirement.
Does the export include what reporters wrote?
No. It contains codes, categories, states, dates and resolutions only, never report text, names, messages or notes.
Can we export one year at a time?
Yes. Pick the year on the Metrics page before exporting, and the file is named for that year.
