Policy acknowledgment
Autessa Homebase includes policy acknowledgment: when HR publishes a policy that asks people to confirm it, everyone it is for is asked by email, reads it, and presses I have read this, and Homebase records the version and the date. Reminders go out automatically, and the acknowledgment report shows who confirmed and who is overdue, with a CSV export for audits.
- Confirmation recorded with version and date
- Reminders 3 days before the due date, on it, and weekly after
- Review my policies: a guided step-through, one policy at a time
- Acknowledgment report per policy, with CSV export
The problem
Proving everyone read the handbook
Auditors and lawyers ask a simple question: did this person confirm this version of this policy, and when? Email and shared drives cannot answer it. Homebase records each confirmation on its own, chases people for you, and keeps the report ready.
How it works
How policy acknowledgment works in Homebase
Publish with confirmation
Turn on Ask people to confirm they read it on a policy and set the days to confirm. Publishing asks everyone it is for.
People read and confirm
Policies to confirm appear on the Policies page and Home. Open the policy, read it, and press I have read this at the end.
Or review them all
Review my policies steps through every open policy one at a time, with Back, Skip for now and resume. There is no accept all: each one is recorded on its own.
Track and export
The acknowledgment report shows, per policy, who confirmed which version and who is overdue. Send a reminder, ask anyone missing, or export CSV.

FAQ
Questions about policy acknowledgment
Can employees acknowledge policies in Autessa Homebase?
Yes. Each person opens the policy, reads it and presses I have read this. Homebase records the date and the version they confirmed.
Are reminders automatic?
Yes. People still waiting get reminders 3 days before the due date, on it, and weekly after. New people are asked automatically each morning. An Autessa agent can also email or call anyone still outstanding, if HR asks it to.
Is there an accept all button?
No. Review my policies steps through each policy in full, and every acknowledgment is recorded on its own.
Can I export who acknowledged a policy?
Yes. The acknowledgment report shows who confirmed which version and who is overdue, and exports as CSV for audits.
What happens when a policy changes?
When HR publishes a real change, they can ask people to confirm the new version. Your earlier confirmations stay on record.
