The problem

"Didn’t someone already disclose this?"

Duplicate disclosures waste reviewer time, and related ideas filed separately can weaken a patent strategy. Finding every disclosure by an inventor, about a technology or mentioning a term needs to be instant.

What you get

  • One search box covers title, description, reference code, problem statement, summary, what is novel, author, inventors, collaborators and tags.
  • A stage filter that shows how many disclosures are in each stage.
  • Sort by recently updated, recently created, title A to Z, and pipeline stage.
  • Press "/" anywhere on the list to jump to the search box.
  • The stage filter is part of the address, so dashboard links and the back button work.
  • 25 disclosures per page, with the title, description, status, reference code, author and last update on each row.
  • Click a row anywhere, or press Enter on it, to open it; edit straight from the row if you may.

FAQ

Questions about search, filters and sorting

Can I search invention disclosures by inventor?

Yes. Search matches inventors, collaborators and the author, as well as titles, reference codes, tags and the disclosure text.

What does search cover?

Every disclosure’s own fields, people and tags.

Can I link to a filtered list?

Yes. The stage filter is part of the address, which is how the dashboard’s pipeline chart opens a filtered list.
