Meeting transcription
Autessa Meeting Recorder includes automatic meeting transcription. Every Zoom, Google Meet or Teams recording and every uploaded file is turned into a transcript in the language that was spoken, with the speaker's name on each line when it is known, alongside the list of people who attended.
The problem
A recording nobody has time to rewatch is not notes
An hour of video is hard to search and impossible to skim. A transcript makes every word findable, lets you quote exactly what was agreed, and feeds the summary, the chat and anything else you build. Meeting Recorder transcribes every recording without anyone pressing a button.
What you get
- Transcription starts on its own as soon as the recording's audio is ready.
- For video, the audio is extracted into a clean track first, then transcribed.
- Lines are attributed to speakers by name when the meeting platform provides them.
- The transcript's language is detected and stored with the recording.
- The Participants tab lists who attended, and who was expected when the attendee list came from the invite.
- If transcription fails, Retry transcription runs it again without re-recording.
- Transcripts are stored on the recording's row, so search, agents and reports can use them.
How it works
How does meeting transcription work?
- 1
The recording lands
When the meeting ends (or an upload completes), the media is saved to the recording.
- 2
Audio is extracted
Video is converted into a clean audio file for transcription.
- 3
Speech becomes text
The audio is transcribed, with speaker names when known and the detected language.
- 4
Read it
Open the Transcript tab on the recording. It usually appears a minute or two after the meeting ends.
- 5
Use it
The summary, the chat and your own automations all read the same transcript.
