Transcripts, summaries and AI · Autessa Meeting Recorder
Ask this recording
Autessa Meeting Recorder lets you chat with a meeting. Open "Ask this recording" on any recording and ask a question; the answer is grounded in that meeting's transcript, cites speakers where it helps, and says plainly when the answer was not discussed. Inside Autessa it can also search your past meeting summaries for context.
The problem
"What did we promise them on price?" should not take a rewatch
The most common thing people do with meeting notes is look for one answer. Chat with transcript gets you that answer in a sentence, from the actual words spoken, without scrolling an hour of text.
What you get
- Ask in plain language, such as "What did Priya agree to send?" or "Summarize the pricing discussion".
- Answers come only from the transcript and say so when something was not covered.
- Answers cite the speaker when that makes the source clear.
- Replies are in the transcript's language and kept short unless you ask for detail.
- Inside Autessa, the assistant can also search your past meeting summaries, checking the same people were there.
- People viewing a share link get a separate assistant with no tools, so it can never reach any other meeting.
- Both assistants are regular agents you can open and edit.

Who can do what?
| Who | Can |

| Viewer and above | Ask questions about recordings they can see. |

| People who can edit agents | Change either assistant's instructions. |
AI at work
Where AI helps here
The assistant reads the transcript as its main context. It is instructed not to speculate beyond what was said and to admit when the answer is not there. The internal one has a semantic search tool over your past summaries; the public one deliberately has none.
