Control and reliability · Autessa Meeting Recorder
Recording status and control
Autessa Meeting Recorder shows exactly where every recording is: Scheduled, Joining, Waiting room, Recording, Processing and Done, or Failed, Entry denied and Cancelled when things do not go to plan. You can cancel a scheduled bot before the meeting or remove the bot from a meeting in progress, and anything already recorded is still processed.
The problem
"Is the notetaker even in this call?"
With most recorders you find out after the meeting that the bot never got in. Meeting Recorder makes every stage visible, raises an alert when the bot is stuck in a waiting room, and lets you stop it whenever you need to.
What you get
- Every recording carries a status: Scheduled, Joining, Waiting room, Recording, Processing, Done, Failed, Entry denied, Cancelled or Deleted.
- The recordings list splits upcoming bots ("Scheduled to join at") from completed recordings.
- Filter the list by status and by origin: Auto-invited, Invited, Manual or Uploaded.
- Each row shows title, date, platform (Zoom, Meet, Teams or Upload), origin, status and participants.
- Cancel bot: the bot will not join that meeting and the recording shows Cancelled.
- Kick from meeting: the bot leaves now, and anything recorded so far is still processed.
- Entry denied explains that nobody admitted the bot from the waiting room, so nothing was recorded.
How it works
How does recording status and control work?
- 1
Scheduled
The bot has a meeting and a join time.
- 2
Joining and waiting room
The bot is entering the call. If the host uses a waiting room, it waits and you get an alert to admit it.
- 3
Recording
The bot is in the meeting and recording.
- 4
Processing
The meeting ended. Audio is extracted, transcribed and summarized, and participants are notified.
- 5
Done
The recording, transcript and summary are ready to read and share.

FAQ
Questions about recording status and control
Can I stop the bot from joining a meeting?
Yes. Open the scheduled recording and click Cancel bot, or click Remove on the meeting in Upcoming. The bot will not join.
Can I make the bot leave mid-meeting?
Yes. Kick from meeting makes it leave right away. Whatever it recorded up to then is still transcribed and summarized.
What does Entry denied mean?
The host never admitted the bot from the waiting room before it timed out, so nothing was recorded.
