Secure share links

Autessa Meeting Recorder shares meeting recordings with secure links. Email a recording to specific people (each gets their own tokenized link) or copy a link to paste anywhere. Every link expires, can require a one-time code emailed to the recipient, shows when it was created and how many times it was opened, and can be revoked in one click.

The problem

A forwarded recording link can end up anywhere

Meeting recordings hold pricing, plans and personal details. A permanent public link that anyone can forward is a risk. Meeting Recorder makes every link personal, time-limited and trackable, with an optional one-time code, so you can share freely and still stay in control.

What you get

  • Share with recipients: paste emails separated by commas, spaces or new lines, and each person is emailed their own link.
  • Copy link: creates a link and copies it to your clipboard, or shows it to copy by hand if the browser blocks copying.
  • Links expire, seven days by default.
  • Links can require a 6-digit one-time code emailed to the recipient, valid for 10 minutes, with limited attempts.
  • Expired links that do not need a code refresh themselves when opened; code-protected ones let the viewer request a fresh link by email.
  • The Share links tab lists every link with its recipient, created and expiry time, open count and whether a code is required.
  • Revoke all invalidates every outstanding link for the recording at once.

How it works

How does secure share links work?

  1. 1

    Open the recording

Go to the recording from the bot's Recordings tab.

  2. 2

    Share or copy

Click Share with recipients and enter emails, then Send recap email; or click Copy link.

  3. 3

    They open it

Recipients open the link. If a code is required they request one, check their email and enter it.

  4. 4

    Track it

The Share links tab shows each link and how many times it was opened.

  5. 5

    Revoke when done

Click Revoke all to end every link for that recording. Viewers see that the link was revoked and who to contact.

FAQ

Questions about secure share links

How do I share a meeting recording with someone outside my company?

Open the recording and use Share with recipients to email them a personal link, or Copy link to paste one yourself. They do not need an Autessa account.

Can I protect a link with a code?

Yes. Links can require a one-time code emailed to the recipient's address, so a forwarded link is useless without that inbox.

What happens when a link expires?

If the link does not need a code, opening it gets a fresh link automatically. If it does, the viewer can request a fresh link by email, as long as the recording still exists.

Can I take a link back?

Yes. Revoke all on the Share links tab ends every outstanding link for that recording immediately.
