Team bots and permissions

Autessa Meeting Recorder bots are team-ready. Every bot starts private to its creator, who can share it with people, teams, company roles or everyone at the company at one of three levels: Viewer sees recordings, Editor operates the bot, and Admin manages and deletes it.

The problem

Recordings either stay locked in one inbox or leak to everyone

A sales recording should reach the sales team, not the whole company. Interview recordings belong to the hiring panel. Meeting Recorder uses Autessa's sharing model on each bot, so access follows the bot and every recording it makes.

What you get

  • Private to its creator by default.
  • Share with individual people, teams, company roles or the whole company.
  • Three levels: Viewer, Editor and Admin.
  • The owner always has Admin.
  • The Sharing tab on the bot shows who has access, and a chip shows the bot's sharing at a glance.
  • A share preview shows who would be affected before you change access.
  • Separate from public share links, which give people outside Autessa one recording.

FAQ

Questions about team bots and permissions

Can my whole team use one bot?

Yes. Share it with a team or everyone at the company. Give Editor to people who should send it to meetings and Viewer to people who only read notes.

Who can delete a bot?

Its owner and anyone with Admin on it.

Is sharing a bot the same as a share link?

No. Sharing a bot gives teammates inside Autessa access to all its recordings. A share link gives one person, who may be outside Autessa, one recording.
