Compliance, consent and recording · Autessa Phone & Texting
Recording, transcripts and redaction
Autessa Phone & Texting gives each number its own call recording and transcript settings: transcripts are on and recording is off by default, a recording announcement can play, and retention days can be set for each. Call Redaction removes card numbers, Social Security numbers, bank details and other personal information before anything is saved.
The problem it solves
Recordings are useful until they hold the wrong things
A recording of a call can settle a dispute or train a team, but it can also hold a card number or a date of birth you never wanted to keep. Autessa lets you record only what you choose, tell callers about it, delete it on a schedule, and strip sensitive details before it is stored.
What you get
- Transcripts on and recording off by default for every number.
- A recording announcement, "This call may be recorded." by default.
- Retention days for recordings and for transcripts, set separately.
- Call Redaction removes card numbers, expiry dates and CVVs, SSNs, bank and account numbers, dates of birth, phone numbers, emails and addresses.
- Redacted audio is replaced with silence or a tone, and only the cleaned copy is stored.
- Recording links open for about 10 minutes at a time.
- Agents can pause and resume recording, and secure keypad capture keeps card digits out entirely.
