Calling from the app · Autessa Phone & Texting
Call history and recordings
Autessa Phone & Texting keeps a full call history of every call in and out of your numbers, and every call between teammates. Each call shows who, when, how long and who handled it, with the recording, transcript and voicemail a click away.
The problem it solves
Nobody knows who called, who answered or what was said
When calls are spread across cells and desk phones, a customer who called twice yesterday is invisible today. One call history, with transcripts, means anyone can see what happened, whether a person or an AI agent took the call.
What you get
- A sortable list with Who, Type (Incoming, Outgoing, Missed, Teammate), When, Length, Number and Handled by.
- Search by name or number, however the number was typed.
- The Missed toggle counts no-answer, busy, failed and voicemail calls, so you can call people back first.
- A call drawer shows the recording player, the transcript, the voicemail recording and its transcript.
- Call back and Text buttons on every call.
- Each call says how it ended (the other person hung up, the agent hung up, silence, time limit, transferred) and who answered (a person, an answering machine, someone on your team).
- When Call Redaction is on, the drawer shows its status: Removing, Removed or Removal failed.

FAQ
Questions about call history and recordings
Where do I see past calls?
In the Phone app's Calls view. It lists every call in and out of your numbers and between teammates, newest first.
Can I listen to recordings and read transcripts?
Yes, from the call drawer, when the number keeps them. Transcripts are on by default and recording is off by default.
Do AI calls show up too?
Yes. Calls handled by AI agents are in the same list, with the agent in Handled by and the transcript in the drawer.
Is there a separate voicemail inbox?
Voicemails live inside the call they came from, and the Missed filter includes them. You can also email new voicemails to your team.
