The problem

Why decisions and interview notes matters

After the interview, the outcome lives in a hallway conversation. Weeks later, nobody remembers why a candidate was held or what the follow-ups were, and interviews that happened over coffee never got recorded.

The short answer

Autessa Recruit records an advance, hold or reject decision for every interview, keeps internal notes tied to the interviews they cover, and tracks attendance and no-shows.

How it works

How decisions and interview notes works in Autessa Recruit

  1. Mark attendance

Mark an interview attended or “didn’t attend” (no-show) once it’s over.

  2. Record a decision

Advance (move forward), Hold (keep in consideration) or Reject (don’t move forward), with a sentence or two of why. Never shown to the candidate.

  3. Keep interview notes

Add what you learned, date it, and tick the interviews it covers. Notes are internal.

  4. Log interviews held elsewhere

Record an interview that already happened outside Recruit: nothing is sent and no calendar changes.

FAQ

Decisions and interview notes: questions

Can we record a hiring decision after each interview?

Yes. Record Advance, Hold or Reject with a reason. The reason is internal and never shown to the candidate.

Can we track no-shows?

Yes. Mark an interview as attended or “didn’t attend” once it’s over. An Autessa agent can then call or email the candidate to reschedule, if your team asks it to.

What if an interview happened outside Recruit?

Log it. You pick the stage and start time, and interviewers can add scorecards. Nothing is sent and no calendar changes.
