Autessa Recruit · Pipeline and candidates
Hiring pipeline
Autessa Recruit includes a customizable hiring pipeline: your own stages, friendlier candidate-facing labels, a suggested email per stage, and a drag-and-drop Kanban board per job.
The problem
Why hiring pipeline matters
Every company hires a little differently. A fixed pipeline forces your process into someone else’s shape, and internal stage names like “Debrief” confuse candidates when they leak out.
The short answer
Autessa Recruit includes a customizable hiring pipeline: your own stages, friendlier candidate-facing labels, a suggested email per stage, and a drag-and-drop Kanban board per job.
How it works
How hiring pipeline works in Autessa Recruit
- 01
Define your stages
Start from New, Screening, Phone screen, Interview, Offer and Hired (plus Rejected and Withdrawn), then add, rename, reorder or remove stages.
- 02
Choose what candidates see
Each stage has a friendlier “candidate sees” label shown on the status page, like “Under review” for Screening.
- 03
Suggest an email per stage
Pick a template that is preselected when someone moves an application into that stage. They can still change or skip it.
- 04
Drag across the board
Each job has a Kanban board. Drag an applicant to another stage, add a reason for the timeline, and optionally email them.
Options and settings
Every option, in plain words
What you can set and see in hiring pipeline.
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Stage name and order | Your own stages, in order. |
| Candidate sees | The wording on the candidate’s status page. |
| Suggested email | Preselected on a move into the stage. |
| Final stage | Ends the application (for example Hired). |
| Built-in stages | New, Rejected and Withdrawn can be renamed, never removed. |
| Recruiter-first screening | By default a recruiter screens new applicants before hiring managers can move them. |
| Reason | An internal, optional reason for each move, kept in the timeline. |
Permissions
Who can do what?
Recruit’s roles decide what each person sees. Hiring managers are narrowed to their own jobs, interviewers to their own interviews.
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Edit pipeline stages; move any applicant. |
| Recruiter | Move any applicant. |
| Hiring manager | Move applicants on their own jobs (after screening, unless the job allows otherwise). |
| Candidate | Sees the candidate-facing label; only the candidate can withdraw. |
Connected
How hiring pipeline connects
Every part of Recruit shares the same jobs, candidates and calendar, on both sides of the hire.
