Human review of AI suggestions
In Autessa Redact a person reviews every AI suggestion. Suggestions stay pending until accepted, each shows why it was proposed, and you can accept or reject them one by one, per page or all at once. The file cannot be burned while any suggestion is still undecided.
The problem
Trusting AI with what leaves the building
Automatic redaction that applies itself can remove the wrong thing or miss the right one, and no one notices until the file is out. Redact keeps a person in charge: AI proposes, a reviewer decides, and burning waits until every suggestion has a decision.
- Pending suggestions are highlighted and listed under the Pending filter.
- Accept (D), Reject (X), or Delete, which rejects an AI box.
- Accept all or reject all pending suggestions, or all on the current page.
- Rejected suggestions stay in the Rejected list and can be restored and accepted.
- Each box says where it came from: marked by you, drawn, found in text, spotted by AI on the page image, or read from the page image.
- Burn and save is blocked with Decide the pending suggestions first until none are left.
- Rejected suggestions are left out of the burn and counted in the confirmation.

After suggestions run, Redact offers Accept all, Reject all, or review one by one.
Review each one
Press M for the next pending suggestion, read its reason, and accept or reject.
Clear a page at once
Right-click a page for Accept all AI on this page or Reject all AI on this page.
Change your mind
Open the Rejected filter and choose Restore and accept on any box.
Burn
With nothing pending, Burn and save opens and shows how many redactions will burn.

Only accepted suggestions and boxes you marked yourself are burned. If AI is still working, editing pauses until it finishes, so a review never races the AI.

Questions about human review of AI suggestions
Can a pending AI suggestion end up in the burned file?
No. You cannot burn while suggestions are pending, and only accepted suggestions and your own boxes are burned.
Can I undo a rejection?
Yes. Find the box under the Rejected filter and choose Restore and accept, or press Ctrl+Z.
How do I see why AI flagged something?
Select the suggestion. Its reason is shown with it in the Redactions panel.
