Keyboard review, undo and redo
Autessa Redact has a keyboard shortcut for every review action. Accept or reject AI suggestions, jump to the next pending one, move between boxes and pages, nudge a box, zoom and undo without reaching for the mouse, which makes reviewing a long document much faster.
The problem
Reviewing hundreds of marks by clicking
A long file can carry hundreds of suggestions, and clicking each one is slow and tiring. With Redact’s shortcuts a reviewer can move through every pending suggestion with M, decide with D or X, and keep their eyes on the page.
- D accepts the selected AI suggestion and X rejects it.
- A accepts all pending suggestions and Shift+A rejects them all.
- M jumps to the next pending AI suggestion; J and K move to the next and previous box.
- Arrow keys nudge the selected box, with Shift for bigger steps.
- Ctrl+Z undoes and Ctrl+Shift+Z redoes any change.
- [ and ] turn pages; +, − and 0 zoom in, out and fit width; Ctrl+F opens Find.

How it works
How does keyboard review, undo and redo work in Autessa Redact?
Run suggestions
Click Suggest redactions. When it finishes, Redact says how many it added.
Step through
Press M to jump to the next pending suggestion. The page scrolls to it.
Decide
Press D to accept or X to reject. Press M again for the next one.
Fix mistakes
Press Ctrl+Z to undo the last change, or Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo it.

What is the fastest way to review AI suggestions?
Press M to jump to the next pending suggestion, then D to accept or X to reject. Repeat until none are left.
Can I undo an accepted suggestion?
Yes. Press Ctrl+Z to undo any change, including accepting, rejecting, drawing, moving or deleting a box.
Where can I see all the shortcuts?
