Windows File Explorer

The Autessa app adds Autessa Drive to the navigation pane, with files on demand, offline copies and right-click Share… and View in Autessa.

macOS Finder

Autessa Drive appears under Locations, with Download Now and Remove Download.

Network drive (WebDAV)

Connect https://dav.autessa.com from Finder or Map network drive with an app password, no install.

Microsoft Office and any desktop app

Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other apps open and save Drive files; saves become versions of the same file.

Group Policy and Mac profiles

Integration questions

Does Autessa Drive work with Microsoft Office?

Yes. Word, Excel and PowerPoint files edit in the browser, and through the Autessa app or a network drive, desktop Office opens and saves Drive files as new versions.

Does Autessa Drive have an API?

Yes. A REST API covers files, search, uploads, versions, sharing, links, comments and a changes feed, and AutessaScript has a matching SDK.

Can agents built elsewhere use Autessa Drive?

Autessa agents use Drive tools directly. Other systems can call the Drive API with an API key, which follows the key’s permissions and the sharing inside the drive.
