Comments and internal notes
Autessa IDF Manager has a comment thread on every invention disclosure, so questions, answers and decisions stay with the idea. Reviewers and Admins can tick Internal when they post, and internal comments are shown only to other Reviewers and Admins.

The problem
Review discussions scatter across inboxes
Reviewers ask the inventor a question by email, discuss the answer in chat, and agree in a meeting. None of it is on the disclosure. A comment thread on the record keeps the conversation in one place, and internal comments let reviewers talk candidly without the inventor reading every word.
What you get
- A comment thread on every disclosure, oldest first, with the author and how long ago each comment was posted.
- Reviewers and Admins can mark a comment Internal, shown to Reviewers and Admins only.
- Internal comments are highlighted and badged so nobody mistakes them for public ones.

How it works
How does comments and internal notes work in Autessa IDF Manager?
Open the Comments tab
On any disclosure, open Comments to read the thread.
Write a comment
Type into Add a comment. Reviewers and Admins can tick "Internal, shown to Reviewers and Admins only".
Post it
Press Comment. It appears at the end of the thread straight away.

Permissions
Who can do what?
Admin, Reviewer, Contributor and Viewer. Anyone not given a role is a Viewer.
