The problem
Why ai grading controls matters
AI screening is only trustworthy if you control it: when it runs, how hard it thinks, how much it costs your day, and what it should and shouldn’t weigh.
The short answer
Autessa Recruit lets admins control AI screening: on or off, a Standard or Thorough model, a daily limit, company-wide and per-job guidance, on-demand re-grades and full history.
How it works
How ai grading controls works in Autessa Recruit
- 01
Turn it on or off
With automatic grading on, each application is graded once, a few seconds after it arrives. Off, applications arrive without a score and anyone can still ask for one.
- 02
Choose how thorough
Standard is fast and consistent, right for most roles. Thorough thinks longer before scoring, for senior or specialist roles.
- 03
Set a daily limit
Cap how many applications are graded per day. Past the limit, applications are marked Skipped and can be graded later. 0 means no limit.
- 04
Write guidance
Company-wide guidance is added to each job’s own notes. Keep it about how to judge, not about who to prefer.
- 05
Re-grade any time
Ask for a fresh assessment on any application; the new one usually appears within a minute, and the history keeps every run.

Where AI helps
You decide which AI model reads applications and what guidance it follows, and every result keeps its full history. AI in Recruit is advice: it never moves an applicant or makes a decision.

Can we limit how many applications are graded?
+
Yes. A daily limit caps grading per day. Applications past the limit are marked Skipped and can be graded later.
How do we keep the AI fair?
