The problem
Why interview plans matters
Unstructured interviews depend on who happens to be in the room. To compare candidates fairly, every candidate for a role should go through the same steps, with the same questions and clear expectations.
The short answer
Autessa Recruit gives every job an interview plan: ordered stages, each with its own length, interviewers, scorecard, booking rules, organizer and instructions for the candidate.
How it works
How interview plans works in Autessa Recruit
- 01
Add the stages
Build the job’s interview plan, in order: a phone screen, a technical interview, a team conversation, and so on.
- 02
Set each stage up
Give it a name, length, kind (phone, video, on-site or take-home), default interviewers, who picks the time and an organizer.
- 03
Build the scorecard
Add rating and written questions, each with optional guidance for interviewers on what good looks like.
- 04
Set booking rules
Slot length, buffer after, minimum notice, per-day and total booking caps, and candidates per slot for group sessions.
- 05
Move candidates forward
Optionally move the candidate to a pipeline stage when the interview is scheduled. It only moves forward, never back.
