The problem

Why job requisitions matters

Openings start in someone’s head, then scatter across email threads and documents. By the time a role is posted, nobody is sure which version of the description, pay range or hiring manager is current, and applicants arrive for jobs that were never really approved.

The short answer

Autessa Recruit includes job requisition management: each opening has a description, department, location, pay range, hiring managers, requirements, questions and a live status from draft to closed.

How it works

How job requisitions works in Autessa Recruit

  1. Describe the role

Write the title, a rich job description, department, location, work type (on-site, hybrid or remote), employment type and level. The web address fills in from the title.

  2. Set pay and dates

Add a pay range with a period (a year, a month, an hour), choose whether candidates see it on the posting, and set an optional date to stop taking applications.

  3. Add the hiring team

Pick one or more hiring managers (the first is the primary contact), assign a recruiter who owns new applicants, and choose the scheduling owner whose calendar the interviews use.

  4. Say what matters

List the requirements the AI assessment checks, add screening questions, and write guidance for the AI. New jobs start with your baseline questions.

  5. Save, submit or publish

Save a draft, submit it for approval, or, as a recruiter or admin, approve and publish it at once. Publish, pause and close it from the job page later.

Options and settings

Every option, in plain words

What you can set and see in job requisitions.

OptionWhat it does
Job title and web addressThe address is filled in from the title, must be lowercase letters, numbers and dashes, and must be unique among open jobs.
Department and locationChosen from the lists an admin keeps in Settings, Careers site, so every job is filed the same way.
Work typeOn-site, hybrid or remote. Remote jobs are marked as remote in their search data.
Employment type and levelEmployment types (for example Full-time, Part-time, Contract) are set by an admin; level is free text.
Pay rangeA bottom and top with a period. “Show on the careers site” controls whether candidates see it; it is kept internal otherwise.
Stop taking applications onAn optional closing date, shown to candidates as “Apply by”.
Search title and descriptionWhat search engines and link previews show. Defaults to the job title and the start of the description.
Hiring managers can screen new applicantsLets the job’s hiring managers move people out of New, instead of waiting for a recruiter to screen first.
Scheduling ownerThe person or shared account whose calendar and mailbox the job’s interviews and candidate emails use.
StatusDraft, Awaiting approval, Changes requested, Approved, Published, Paused or Closed.

Permissions

Who can do what?

Recruit’s roles decide what each person sees. Hiring managers are narrowed to their own jobs, interviewers to their own interviews.

RoleWhat they can do
AdminCreate, edit any job, approve, publish, pause, close and reopen.
RecruiterCreate, edit any job, approve, publish, pause, close and change the scheduling owner.
Hiring managerWrite jobs and submit them for approval; see and work their own jobs.
InterviewerNo access to jobs; sees only the interviews they are on.

Where AI helps

While you write the job, AI can suggest requirements from the description, and your per-job guidance shapes how every applicant is assessed. AI in Recruit is advice: it never moves an applicant or makes a decision.

Connected

How job requisitions connects

Every part of Recruit shares the same jobs, candidates and calendar, on both sides of the hire.

FAQ

Job requisitions: questions

Does Autessa Recruit manage job requisitions?

Yes. Every opening is a requisition with a description, department, location, work type, pay range, hiring managers, requirements, questions and a status from draft to closed.

Can we hide the pay range from candidates?

Yes. Each job has a “Show on the careers site” switch for its pay range. Turn it off and the range stays internal.

What happens to applicants when a job is paused or closed?

They stay where they are. Pausing hides the job and stops new applications; closing takes it off the careers site for good, and you can reopen it later.

Can a job have more than one hiring manager?

Yes. A job can list several hiring managers. The first is the primary contact, and each one sees the job, its applicants, assessments and scorecards.
