AI roleplay practice · Autessa Roleplay
Time limits and pressure mode
Autessa Roleplay scenarios can run against the clock: a time limit with an early warning, a pressure mode that makes the character interrupt and give less ground, and a character who can end the call when it is over. It turns sales training into the kind of rehearsal that feels like the real meeting.
The problem it solves
Real conversations have a clock and a temper
A buyer who gave you fifteen minutes will not wait for you to finish a ten-minute monologue, and an upset customer does not stay patient. Practice that never runs short on time or patience leaves people unprepared for exactly the moments that matter.
What you get
- A time limit per scenario, in minutes; 0 means no limit.
- A heads-up warning at a minute you choose, before time runs out.
- Sessions end on the clock and the report says "Ended on the time limit".
- Pressure mode: the character interrupts, pushes harder and gives less ground.
- The character can say its closing line and end the call itself.
- Each session records why it ended: the trainee, the time limit, the character or an error.
- A default session length for new scenarios in Settings.
The run-through
How does time limits and pressure mode work?
- SCENE 1
Set the clock
On the scenario, enter a time limit and the minute to warn the trainee.
- SCENE 2
Decide how hard they push
Choose Easy, Moderate or Hard, and turn on pressure mode for the toughest rehearsals.
- SCENE 3
Run the session
The live panel shows elapsed and total time; the warning appears at the minute you set.
- SCENE 4
Finish
The trainee ends it, the clock ends it, or the character closes the conversation. The report shows how it ended.

| Who | Can |

What the AI does
Behind the scenes
Difficulty, pressure mode and the time limit are passed to the character for every session, so a Hard scenario in pressure mode plays a sharper, less forgiving version of the same person.
Questions
Questions about time limits and pressure mode
What does pressure mode do?
The character interrupts, pushes harder and gives less ground. It is meant for the hardest rehearsals: a tough negotiation, an angry customer or a termination conversation.
What happens when time runs out?
The session ends and goes to scoring like any other, and the report is marked "Ended on the time limit".
Can the character end the call?
Yes. When the conversation has run its course, the character can say its closing line and end the session.
