Autessa Accounting connects to Mercury with an API token and syncs transactions every 15 minutes, writing the category and note you choose back to Mercury.

Statement upload (CSV, Excel, PDF)

Autessa Accounting reads CSV, Excel and PDF statements from any bank, matches each to its account by last four digits and checks the statement’s own arithmetic before saving a row.

Duplicate detection

Autessa Accounting uses one duplicate check for sync and uploads and counts identical rows instead of collapsing them, so a real second $22.14 charge is never lost.

Review inbox

The review inbox holds every transaction a person has not approved yet, pre-coded where possible, with keyboard shortcuts and bulk approve; nothing reaches the books without it.

Merchant rules

Merchant rules match a transaction description exactly, by its start or by contained text, and set its category and department, so each merchant is asked about once.

AI transaction categorization

When no card default or rule applies, an Autessa AI model suggests a category with a reason; a person always approves it, and it never touches the debit and credit math.

Receipts and documents

Autessa Accounting lists card purchases over $75 without a receipt, takes PDFs and photos by drag and drop, and lets you attach contracts and notes to posted entries.
