Autessa Ethics Hotline
Anonymous follow-up
Autessa Ethics Hotline keeps a private, two-way conversation open between an anonymous reporter and the ethics committee for as long as the case is open.
The area
What does anonymous follow-up cover?
Reporters come back with their case code and passphrase to see the status, read the committee’s questions and answer them, still without saying who they are.
Most reports need one more answer, and every reporter deserves to know the report is moving. Follow-up keeps a private two-way channel open for the life of the case, with reporter-friendly status labels and content-free emails for confidential reporters.
Who works here

FAQ
Questions about anonymous follow-up
Can an anonymous reporter check the status of their report?
Yes. With the case code and passphrase they open the Check a report page and see the status, a progress line and every update and message, without signing in or sharing who they are.
How do investigators talk to an anonymous whistleblower?
Through the hotline’s two-way messages. The committee writes on the case page, and the reporter reads and replies on the Check a report page with their case code and passphrase. Neither side needs the other’s name or email.
What is in a status email to a reporter?
Only the case code, the new status in reporter-friendly words (or that a message is waiting) and a link to check the report. No report text, names or messages are ever included.
