The problem
A recording cannot answer “which meeting?”
Robocall-style reminders play a message and hang up. If you missed the first words while you were reaching for the phone, the reminder is wasted. A voice assistant can simply say it again, in a sentence, and get you on your way.
What you get
- The reminder message is spoken first, exactly as written, so it is always accurate.
- The assistant only joins the conversation if you talk back.
- Ask “which meeting?” or “how long?” and it repeats the meeting name and how soon it starts.
- Replies are kept to one or two short sentences, because you are about to join a meeting.
- It is instructed not to invent details it was not given.
- Each setup has its own reminder voice agent, which you can open to change its instructions or voice.
How it works
How does voice assistant on the call work?
- 1
You answer
The reminder is spoken: “Your meeting Customer call starts in 3 minutes.”
- 2
You speak, or not
Say nothing and hang up, and that is the end of it. Say anything and the assistant answers.
- 3
It answers briefly
It repeats the meeting and timing if asked, otherwise acknowledges with a short confirmation and wishes you a good meeting.
- 4
Make it yours
Open the Reminder voice agent from Under the hood to edit its instructions or pick a different voice.

AI on the call
How the voice assistant is involved
The voice assistant is a small Autessa voice agent created for your setup. It is given the reminder that was spoken and simple instructions: be brief, repeat the meeting and timing if asked, do not invent details. Because it is a normal Autessa agent, you can open it, read exactly what it is told and change it.

FAQ
Questions about voice assistant on the call
Is the reminder itself generated by AI?
No. The reminder is a fixed sentence built from your meeting title and lead time, spoken word for word. The voice assistant only answers if you talk back.
Can I change the voice?
Yes. Open the Reminder voice agent from the Under the hood section of your setup and change its voice or instructions.
Can the assistant reschedule my meeting?
No. It has no tools; it can only repeat the meeting and timing and confirm. Your calendar is never changed by a reminder call.
