Paste a meeting link

Autessa Meeting Recorder can send a recorder to any meeting from a link. Click Paste URL on a bot, paste a Zoom, Google Meet or Teams link (or the whole invite text), add an optional title and join time, and the bot joins right away or at the time you set.

The problem

The meeting is starting and the bot is not invited

A call that was not planned, a link dropped in chat, a webinar you want notes from: sometimes the fastest way is to hand the bot a link. Paste URL takes the meeting link from anything you paste and sends the bot in seconds.

What you get

  • Paste a bare link or a full invite: the meeting link is pulled out of the pasted text for you.
  • The field warns you if what you pasted does not look like a Zoom, Meet or Teams link.
  • Add an optional title (up to 200 characters) so the recording is easy to find later.
  • Set an optional join time and the bot waits, then joins at that moment; leave it blank to join now.
  • From Upcoming you can also click Add bot next to any meeting in the next 24 hours.
  • Your agents and workflows can do the same with the Meeting Bot Dispatch tool.

How it works

How does paste a meeting link work?

  1. 1

    Open the bot

Go to the bot and click Paste URL.

  2. 2

    Paste

Paste a Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link, or an entire invite. The link is extracted automatically.

  3. 3

    Title and time

Optionally name it, such as "Q2 board review", and pick a join time. Blank means join immediately.

  4. 4

    Send

The bot is dispatched. A recording appears with the status Scheduled, then Joining. Admit it if the host uses a waiting room.

FAQ

Questions about paste a meeting link

How fast does the bot join?

If you leave the join time blank it is dispatched immediately and joins as soon as the meeting lets it in.

Can I schedule the bot for later?

Yes. Set a join time and the bot waits until that moment. You can cancel it from the recording before then.

Can an agent send the bot?

Yes. The Meeting Bot Dispatch tool takes the bot, a meeting URL and an optional start time, title and organizer email, so an agent or workflow can send a recorder as part of a larger job.
