Upload recordings

Autessa Meeting Recorder can transcribe and summarize recordings you already have. Upload a video (MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM or AVI) or audio file (MP3, M4A or WAV) to a bot and it runs through the same pipeline as a live meeting: transcript, AI summary, chat and share links.

The problem

Some of your most important conversations were never on Zoom

In-person interviews, phone calls, a recording a customer sent you, last year's all-hands: the file exists but nobody has time to listen to it. Uploading it to Meeting Recorder gives you the same notes you get from a live meeting.

What you get

  • Video uploads: MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM and AVI.
  • Audio uploads: MP3, M4A and WAV.
  • The file type is detected for you, and you can see the file size before you upload.
  • A progress bar shows the upload, which goes straight to secure storage.
  • Give the upload a title so it is easy to find.
  • Uploaded recordings are marked Uploaded in the list and get a transcript, summary, chat and sharing like any other.

FAQ

Questions about upload recordings

Can I get a transcript of a recording I already have?

Yes. Upload it to a bot as video (MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, AVI) or audio (MP3, M4A, WAV) and it is transcribed and summarized like a live meeting.

Do uploads email participants?

Recap emails go to the participants the recording knows about. You can always share an uploaded recording yourself with Share with recipients or Copy link.

Does an upload count as the bot joining a meeting?

No. It goes straight to processing. Its origin is Uploaded, so you can filter uploads separately from recorded meetings.
