Opening a spreadsheet shouldn’t mean downloading it

Budgets, trackers and exports live in Excel. When the only way to change a number is download, edit and re-upload, copies multiply and nobody trusts the totals.

How does spreadsheets work in Autessa Drive?

    The grid appears with the file’s own look and every sheet as a tab.

    Edit cells and formulas

    Type values or formulas; results recalculate immediately, including arrays that spill into neighboring cells.

    Comment on a range

    Select cells and press C to leave a note pinned to that range.

    Save a version

    Save creates a new version, keeping formatting, charts and validations intact.

Questions about spreadsheets

Can I edit Excel files online in Autessa Drive?

Yes. .xlsx and CSV files open in an editable grid with their formatting, and formulas recalculate as you type, including spilling array formulas.

Will saving lose my charts or conditional formatting?

No. Saving keeps formatting, charts, pictures, conditional formatting and data validations. Chart sheets, slicers and form controls are not kept, and the editor tells you before you save.

Can I open old .xls files?

You can download them, but they do not open in the editor. Save them as .xlsx to edit in Drive.
