// overview

What is question bank in Autessa Technical Interviews?

Autessa Technical Interviews includes a technical interview question bank shared by your whole team. Each question has a Markdown prompt, separate Python and Java starter code, a difficulty, tags and private notes for interviewers.

Questions are copied into a session when you add them, so you can keep improving the bank without changing what any past candidate was asked.

Coding question bank

Autessa Technical Interviews includes a technical interview question bank where your team stores every coding question with its difficulty, tags and notes, searchable by title or tag.

Explore →

Question editor with Markdown

Questions are written in Markdown with headings, bold, inline code, code blocks and lists, with a side-by-side preview of exactly what the candidate will read.

Explore →

Starter code per language

Each question can carry separate Python and Java starter code, and the candidate’s editor opens with it in whichever language they pick.

Explore →

Interviewer notes on questions

Every bank question can hold private interviewer notes, such as hints, the expected solution and follow-ups, shown beside the live room and never sent to the candidate.

Question snapshots

When a question is added to a session, its title and prompt are copied in, so editing the bank later never rewrites what a past candidate was asked.

Question bank: questions

Can I build my own technical interview question bank?

Yes. The bank is yours: write questions with a Markdown prompt, starter code, difficulty, tags and private notes.

Can prompts include code examples?

Yes. Fenced code blocks and inline code render in the candidate’s question pane.

Can a question have different starter code for Python and Java?

Yes. Each language has its own starter code, and either can be left empty.

Can candidates ever see interviewer notes?

No. Notes live only in the interviewer console; the candidate room cannot read them.

If I edit a question, do past interviews change?

No. Each session keeps the title and prompt that were copied in when the question was added.

04

Candidate experience →

Candidates join from a private link into a calm coding room that saves as they type, shows what is installed, and lets them submit when they are done.

05
