The problem it solves

Long contracts make field placement slow

An agreement with an initials box on every page, two signers and a dozen dates can take longer to prepare than to sign. Signers then miss fields because they are hard to find. The Autessa editor is built for long documents: page thumbnails, zoom, undo, multi-select and copy-paste across pages, with every field color-coded to its signer.

What you get

  • Signer fields: Signature, Initials, Name, Email, Date signed (stamped automatically), Text and Checkbox.
  • Prefilled content: Static text, Multi-line text, Static date and Image, filled by you before sending.
  • Every signer field belongs to exactly one slot, color-coded to match the signer.
  • Mark a field required, and give it a label such as “Pricing” so validation errors name the exact box.
  • Set font (Helvetica, Times or Courier), size, color and rotation in the properties panel.
  • Undo and redo (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z), copy and paste across pages (Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V), duplicate (Ctrl+D) and delete.
  • Select several fields to reassign them to one signer, mark them required or delete them together.
  • Page thumbnails and zoom for precise placement on dense, long documents.

How it works

Drag-and-drop field editor, step by step

  1. Drag a field onto the page

Pick a field from the toolbox and drop it where it belongs.

  2. Assign it

Choose which signer fills it. The field takes on that signer’s color.

  3. Label and require it

Name the field and mark it required if the signer must not skip it.

  4. Repeat quickly

Copy an initials box and paste it on every page, or multi-select fields to reassign them together. Click Review when you are done.

Helpful

Built for larger screens, honest on phones

Placing fields beside two side panels needs room, so on a phone the editor says plainly that it works best on a computer or tablet. Everything else in Document Signing, including reviewing and sending, works at phone width.

FAQ

Drag-and-drop field editor: questions and answers

What fields can I add to a document?

Signature, Initials, Name, Email, Date signed, Text and Checkbox for signers, plus Static text, Multi-line text, Static date and Image that you fill before sending.

Can I copy a field to every page?

Yes. Select it, press Ctrl+C, move to another page and press Ctrl+V. Copy and paste works across pages, which is ideal for initials.

Can I reassign several fields at once?

Yes. Select several fields and the right panel lets you assign them all to one signer, mark them required, or delete them together.

Why should I label fields?

Labels name the field in validation errors, so a blocked send tells you which box is empty instead of “a field on page 3”.
